ABOUT
Deborah Watkins Jones and Sue Manville are a collaborative duo who work within a company of trained dancers living and working in Suffolk.
The Company draws on an interest in spaces, places and relationships as the inspiration for choreographic work looking at how they affect us and our movement.

We regularly undertake research and development work to explore the impact of place on our movement.
EDGEFIELD DANCE COMPANY
A group of trained dancers comprised of a creative duo and core dancers developing work for performance and film.
EDGEFIELD MOVES
Edgefield Moves is a larger group of experienced dancers drawn from the community in Suffolk.
EDGEFIELD PROJECTS
Past projects include work with schools, groups for older people and Arts Council England funded work within arts organisations with vulnerable groups.

November 2019 - Edgefield Moves and Edgefield Duo perform Former Whispers at Old Jet, Bentwaters Air Park.
July 2021 - Edgefield Dance Company and Edgefield Duo perform Over The Wall at Here, the launch show of The Art Station, Saxmundham.
September 2021 - Edgefield Dance Company, Edgefield Moves and Edgefield Duo perform Virtually Real at the Car Wash, Saxmundham.
September 2022 - Edgefield Duo perform Present Form to an invited audience in Iken.
October 2022 - Edgefield Dance Company, Edgefield Moves and Edgefield Duo perform in All Human Beings at DanceEast, Ipswich.
April 2023 - The Place of Place sharing of work by Edgefield Duo with filmmakers Dr Emily Richardson and Charlie Ditcham at PrimeYarc, Original Projects, Great Yarmouth. ACE funded.
June 2023 - Edgefield Moves perform Blue China as part of Critical Moment, Wandsworth Arts Festival, Royal Academy of Dance Theatre, London.
December 2023 - Within Arboreal a response by Edgefield Duo to an ancient oak woodland and film installation, Arboreal by Emily Richardson at The Art Station, The Old Bank, Saxmundham. Commissioned by The Art Station.
February 2024 - Traces, a sharing of work created during our residency at Asylum Studios with Edgefield Duo and Charlie Ditcham.
November 2024 - about US, a day of filming and sharing of work at Asylum Studios with Edgefield Dance Company, Edgefield Moves and Charlie Ditcham.
